Internationally-acclaimed film & faerie artists Brian and Wendy Froud will be the guests of honor at AFA for an exhibition & sale featuring original artwork from the couple’s new book, Trolls, published by Abrams in September 2012. The book incorporates paintings and drawings by Brian, with sculptures and text by Wendy. Brian and Wendy have worked together for over 30 years, since meeting in New York during the development of Jim Henson’s film The Dark Crystal. Trolls is their first literary collaboration. The exhibition also features sculptures by Toby Froud. Toby has spent a lifetime steeped in a world of goblins, faeries, trolls and puppet theatre, and has spent years making magic as a sculptor and/or puppet fabricator on multiple productions.
