Toby Froud Interview
BBP creations has a lovely new interview with AFA artist Toby Froud. The interview explores Toby’s experience working as a Puppet Fabricator on the new feature film ParaNorman.
“Due to my experience I ended up moving around between the different departments, supporting wherever additional hands were needed. I would mold and cast the maquettes, so that each department in the company would have visual reference whilst creating all the elements of the movie. My job then turned to molding the puppet sculpts, which were then turned into puppets. I then moved onto the costume department making costumes for the background characters, and then eventually making main character costumes.”
